This gargantuan building houses more legal jargon than you can shake a stick at. You have a history of the Supreme Court of California, an archive of laws, cases, and historical references to the court itself, the Supreme Court Courtroom, the meeting room of the Council of the Supreme Court, and a whole lot more. There's quite a bit to see here.

You see, the court system works like this. You are tried in a superior court, but if you feel it isn't a fair verdict, you can apply to the court of appeals. They look it over, and if they see any problems, they correct them. If you still aren't satisfied, you can try and get acceptance for a hearing from the Supreme Court. However, this only happens with cases that affect a large number of people, or death row cases. Quite confusing if you ask me.
